
Isil Bagdadi-Sergio
Isil Bagdadi-Sergio is an indie film producer, distributor, programmer and publicist. She started producing films in the late '90s with Michael Sergio's directorial debut “Under Hellgate Bridge” (LionsGate Entertainment). In 2001, Isil and Sergio started CAVU Pictures to distribute cutting-edge, critically acclaimed and award-winning independent films, including Academy Award-winning filmmaker Sean Baker’s second film “Take Out”.
Isil has shepherded dozens of films into the marketplace and continues to champion independent filmmakers, artists and storytellers in every way she can. Isil is also the host & curator of the popular Preview Club Film Series at Long Island's legendary arthouse, Cinema Arts Centre where she screens some of the top independent films, followed by conversations with special guest speakers including leading film critics and filmmakers.
